Remains found in missing bodies case

Five mutilated bodies were discovered yesterday in Aurora, Colorado. The bodies were found by cyclists in Sand Creek. Identification found at the scene indicate the bodies belong to a popular, young rock band from Auburn,N.Y. named If Hope Dies. The band members were identified as Alan French -24, Brandon Wakeham -21, Gary Mann -25, Thad Jackson -23 and Brian Ward -20. All five bodies were decapitated.

The victim's heads were discovered earlier this week in The Marquis Theater, where they were scheduled to perform.  The group was last seen near their E. Colfax hotel the day prior. Their personal belongings, vehicle and musical equipment were left untouched. Robbery has been ruled out.

The fans of this young and well loved group have made a memorial to their musical heroes, laying flowers at the entrance to the club.  "It's insane to think something like this could happen in Denver," said fan Tory Williams, "especially to such a loving group of guys that didn't have an enemy in the world,"

Fellow musicians and tour mates, A Life Once Lost, stated in a press release today "We are in a state of shock that

such a horrible thing could happen to such a well-respected group of musicians and close friends."  Pending completion of forensic work, the bodies will be returned home to next of kin. Fans in the Metro area will hold a memorial service. Date to be announced.
